Happy Holidays: Sister Jane, Bro-in-Law David, and Nephew Aaron came for a visit over the weekend.  Their timing was perfect for a nice walk in our lovely Maine woods. We strapped on the YakTrax, grabbed a few ski poles (used for pulling a snow angel up to a standing position), and trekked across the pond to the snowmobile trail. Upon our return, we encountered a skating party playing a friendly game of ice hockey. Fun!

Where are Drew and Kasha? Well…old Kasha is too frail to handle the uneven ground of the trails, so she has to stay home. Drew and I take turns going out into the woods these days. Ugh…but someone has to keep the pup happy and safe.
