Kasha: Drew took this photo of Kasha today. She will be 13 years old in 4 days.  She has a torn cruciate ligament on her right knee, so no play for her any more.  We have to keep her on leash while she swims because she is so deaf she can’t hear us (or doesn’t want to hear us), and won’t listen to commands anymore. Poor pup… she isn’t a very happy camper at the moment, although she does enjoy laying in the warm sun. I am rather tearful when seeing her look so sad. She doesn’t laugh or smile anymore like she used to…But, at least we know that she has had an awesome life with us…although that is of little consolation at the moment…
