Basement: Installation of our old wood stove is complete. We have had a wood stove in our shed for the last 10 years, but were unable to use it due to the fact that we only have one chimney flue. Well, we got a new boiler (top of the line) which we had vented directly to the outside from our laundry room, leaving the chimney flue open for a wood stove. Upstairs: We had the old hearth torn out and had tile laid down to replace it. Heat should flow up through this new vent from the wood stove. I can just imagine Kasha laying on the tile soaking up the heat! Of course, she’ll have to wrestle with me for the prime location in the house!
